03In internal testing
It is built to keep a record of what goods cost and what people look for across Cameroon, drawn from local online shops, classified listings, search trends, WFP food-price data and our own visits to markets. It runs behind a sign-in, in internal testing, and isn’t open to the public.
Only one of its sources covers Douala, Buea and Bamenda together, and that source is monthly. Its dashboard says so rather than implying more.
We name a company when it launches. Until then its working name stays private, so it isn’t spent before it’s ready.

Each Blacksilver company sets its own prices, on its own site.
05Joining
Every company joins the same way, in five steps.
Brief. Who it’s for, what it replaces, and whether it may grow beyond its first market.
Name. A coined word that clears four checks: trademark; domain and handles; meaning in the languages of its market; no confusion with another of ours.
Lockup. Its wordmark, and the three approved ways to set it with ours.
Endorse. “a Blacksilver company” on its site, in its product and in its legal footer.
Cross-link. It’s listed here, and its footer links back.
